I photograph people the way they hope to be remembered — unhurried, honest, and lit like film. A decade based in Chicago, Illinois.
Six selected projects — fashion, portraiture, editorial and weddings. Open any frame to step inside its full gallery.
“A good photograph is a held breath — the second before a person forgets the camera is there.”Kristina Sheptytska
I came to photography through cinema — the patience of it, the way a single frame can carry a whole story if you wait for the right light.
For a decade I've worked across Chicago and the Midwest, making pictures for fashion houses, magazines and the occasional couple brave enough to marry outdoors. My work lives in the quiet: the glance before the pose, the fabric still moving, the last minute of dusk. I shoot lean, print generously, and edit like it matters — because to the person in the frame, it always does.
